In this episode of Class of '75 Conversations, Dr. Art McClanahan talks with Juanice (Dunbar) Edwards. She shares her journey since graduating from Duke Divinity School, including her varied career as a Methodist pastor, chaplain, government worker, and oil company employee. Throughout these roles, she always found ways to provide pastoral care.

Juanice reflects on her experience as one of the few women at Duke Divinity School in the 1970s. She expresses gratitude for classes in pastoral psychology, Clinical Pastoral Education, and a preaching course with Dr. Carlyle Marney, and even wishes she had studied Greek and Hebrew to become acquainted with the original languages.

Juanice talks about her passion for art and mission work, including an unexpected opportunity to witness to persons in Taiwan through livestreaming. Nearly 50 years after graduation, she published her first theological book.
